About My Free Furniture & Woodworking Plans

Thank you for visiting my free plans website and your interest in my free plans. My plans are measured drawings of antique furniture that my family business has reproduced over the last 70 plus years we've been in business. Some of my plans are pieces that we've designed and built for clients.

My plans are drafted (drawn) in Autocad Architectural Desktop with full- size templates. If you're not familiar with CAD drawings and understand what your seeing, I suggest you study and use for a reference, the Drafting Symbols Page that will give you a better understanding of what you're seeing on the plans.

I designed the joinery on the plans where just about anyone with some woodworking skills could build the furniture in their home shops and not having thousands of dollars worth of woodworking equipment. I've also started drafting pieces true to their original construction and joinery including dadoes and dovetail joinery.

This is a hobby for me, and I would like to share my plans with woodworkers all over the world. My plans have been downloaded from every state in the US and 21 countries so far, and I've made a lot of friends along the way since 1999 when I put up my first plans site.
